1966 LAMBORGHINI 400GT Interim
Chassis #0418
Engine #0373
Touring #18921

Exterior color of this recently found car is Red with a Tan interior. The car was recently purchased from the second owner who had left 0418 in storage in Atlanta, GA for ten plus years. Prior to that the car was in Alabama until its first owner was murdered and the car was sold by the owner's wife, who apparently was the one who killed the car's owner.

The car is presently missing the spare wheel, jack, tools, indicators, and interior boot panels. These were stolen from the garage where the car was being stored. An ad was seen in a Georgia paper several years ago from somebody trying to sell these parts. It seems they did not know they were stolen. They were also not the thieves, but were neighbors of the thief who now lives in South Africa with several thousand dollars worth of parts that are useless to him. The spare wheel was still in Georgia at a tire shop it was sold to for the sum of $20. It was on display until a year or so ago and should soon be reunited with the rest of the car.

#0418 is now back on the road, after her 12 years of rest in that car port in Atlanta. She runs great and the engine is unbelievable. The carbs are set perfectly. The owner made sure everything was just right before he turned the ignition for the first time. He hopes to display #0418 at area shows and Concours.

The present owner Cyril Lesellier is looking for more information on this car's history. Any info would be appreciated.
At left #0418 is pictured as found with Georgia plate #BDM 392.
