The presented car #916 1966 was sold by importer Monceau (Paris) and registred in March 1967 for Miss Durand who gave it in 1973 to Mr. Farinetti.

He changed it later for a Citroen SM at Garage Macon. The Garage sold the car to Mr. Piat, wine expert and writer, good known in the Beaujolais wine region. In october 1978 sold the car to the present owner, who begun the restoration in 1979.

 The engine was taken out, and restored with new cylinder gaskets, piston, camshafts, bearings, drive chains, also the carburettors overhauled and a new exhaust produced. Also a new radiator and fuel tank was installed, as the fuel and water pumps have been replaced. The whole electric circuit was made new by Workshop Picolet. The gearbox, drivetrain and differential have been controlled, no work was necessary.

The brakes were overhauled and mains were made of aircraft material.

In 1982 the body was demounted, parts of the chassis renewed, new door panel made and the rear fenders remade.

In 1983 the body was in naked state and prepared for painting by Carosserie Terrier and painted ready in 1984.

The chassis was reinforced at the suspension points. The Borrani wires have been polished by Borrani dealer SIMA of Beaune (famous wine capital in Beaujolais). All window levers and ventilator motor are revised, the Touring signs have been made new, the doorhandle have been replaced by ones made of bronce instead of Zamac. The roof lining was also made new, but the leather interioir is still original.

The restoration was finished in 1985 and fine tuned in 1986 since then the car made 20'000Km with several club meetings and visiting the factory.

The car was oofered at auction by Poulain & Le Fur in Paris, France on Dec 18, 2000.
