Artist Michael Goettner
Now a U.S. citizen, Michael Goettner emigrated from Hamburg, Germany at a very young age in 1950. Art has been his world for as long as he can remember. Sketch pads of his early drawing date back to about 4 years of age. Michael became interested in automobiles at about the same time and has also stayed with him through the years.

Micheal's studied art at Ferris State University in Michigan, and immediately thereafter did a tour of duty in Vietnam. Artillery and part time artist were his responsibilities with the First Cavalry Division. His artistic talent did not go unnoticed and was soon illustrating Soviet aircraft and helicopters for identification purposes.

Michael's experience includes graphics, point of purchase display design, building facia and architechtural illustration, corporate identification - logo design, and industrial design. His technical history has influenced the type of illustration that he does.

Michael has recently entered into the limited edition print market. Having illustrated for many clients he is now ready to pursue his own work. His style is superrealistic and detail oriented illustrating in designer's Gousche, an opaque water color.

Concepts Illustrated is producing automotive art prints of exotic, classic automobiles and sportscars. The original pieces are super realistic detailed watercolor illustrations by Michael Goettner. A certificate of authenticity and a brief biography of the artist are included with each purchase.
