Diablo VT Roadster (#466 Made 1996-2000)
This topless version of the popular Diablo was introduced at the December 1995 Bologna Motor Show for the 1996 model year. It is based on the Diablo chassis but has a completely redesigned body. None of the body panels are interchangable between the coupe and roadster. The basic style of the carries over from the coupe with a few changes, the most obvious of which is the removable hard top that is easily stowable over the engine cover. Minimal physical effort is necessary to reposition the hard top safely. The roof locks into position electrically in either position.
 The interior maintains the user friendly configurations of the coupe with new colors and materials that offer resistance to the adverse effects of the sun and rain, not that anyone would dare leave this beautiful machine out in the rain unprotected.
Unfortunately, the Roadster version of the Diablo will come to an end with the final 30 Millenium Edition Roadsters being made for the year 2000.
