Originally delivered January 31, 1971 in Silver/Black with early S2 dash and center nut wheels. Peter Drake, USA. <--I have recently purchased an Espada Series 2, serial #8584. Enclosed are some pictures of the car. Note the center-nut wheels and the early dash-center console configuration, even though this was a 1972. Car is in excellent shape, with red paint, front seats were re-covered in cloth (I'll get them back to leather), wheels are powder-coated, as are head covers on engine, VW radio is the first thing to go! If you list my name, please list address only as "USA." I have some more info about my Espada # 8584. I bought it as a '72, but it was delivered January 31, 1971, according to Lamborghini. The original color was silver, with black interior. The original engine number is actually 40757; I suspect that the "40257" I have written down is due to a smudged number or something.
