CHASSIS NUMBERS
Chassis #'s on the Islero is in two places as seen in the two following photos:
On the air intake for the ventilation system at the rear of the engine compartment on
the firewall (see first photo below). The bottom number is the chassis number.
On the right frame member in the engine compartment near the right coil
and headlight motor (see 2nd photo below).
ENGINE NUMBERS
Engine #'s on the Isleros are also located in two places:
On the air intake for the ventilation system at the rear of the engine compartment on
the firewall (see top photo). The middle number is the engine number.
The manual says there is also an engine number stamped on the cylinder block top side between the banks of cylinder heads. Apparently it can be seen with the engine fully assembled. We will bring you a photo of this location as soon as we can.
