The subject of a rumor about it being the last Islero made.ÊClaimed built after line shut down special. This was not true as #6417 was made in the regular sequence of production. What may be true is that it may have been damaged in the early 70's and rebuilt at the factory using the original chassis number and thereby claiming to be the "last off!"Ê However, 2 known owners of this car who swear it never has any evidence of being in any accident.ÊSo-who knows?ÊThe owner of the car when it had the license LK0005 in the photo below confirmed it was in Luxembourg at the time and confirmed that it was #6417.ÊTo the best of my knowledge it has never lived in Switzerland.
