1969 Miura P400
Chassis #3901

According the Coltrin book, Miura 3901 was the only Miura painted "Brambilla Blue" and the present owner, Chris Holl of the USA would like to learn more about the history of the car. A few serial numbers earlier, there is another car listed as the Brambilla car. It was also blue with mustard interior and is suspected that the car was either the second Miura purchased by Vittorio Brambilla, or perhaps by his brother, in a custom color. Any further clarification on this would be helpful.

The previous owner purchased the car in England (although it is a left-hand drive car) and imported it to Seattle, Washington. He painted the car black over the original blue. Chris bought the car in 1981 and it has sat for 19 years. The car only has about 25k miles on it

Chris is now having the car completely restored, as can be seen in the above photo. Chris also has a web site at http://www.lambomiura.com. to keep us all up to date on the restoration project.

Chris had always wanted an S, so he is having the car converted to an S specs and is also having the sump split. He plans to have it restored to its original color, since it is a one-of-a-kind color. The interior will be navy and silver, with silver rocker panels and wheels. Progress is finally being made after sitting for so many years.!

Restoration expected to be completed for Concorso Italiano 2007.
