01/27/70: Production date. Car was originally Rossa Corsa (red) with Brown/Tan interior. Wheels and lower sills were originally gold.
1/70-4/70: Delivered from the Lamborghini factory to a Mr. Marinese, their concessionaire/dealer in Sicily. Confirmed by a letter from the factory.
4/3/70: Sold new to a Mr. LoTurco, Sicily, Italy. Confirmed by a letter from the factory.
7/19/72: Sold to a Mr. Angelo Lenzoni, residente a Longarone Fraz. Villanova, Italy, for 5,500,00 lira (written as 5,500,00= on registration documents). Original owner's log with his name, the chassis number (4437), as well as the original Italian license/registration plate from his ownership are all still with the car. Having Italian license/registration: 74885 BL.
10/74: Sold to Mr. Moses Sherid of Greensburg, PA, for $9,600 including shipment to the United States, some mechanical work, and spare parts. Mr. Sherid was the individual that imported the car from Italy. He is deceased but his son provided extensive documents including a bill of lading, shipping manifest, photographs, receipts, correspondence with the DOT, etc. Mr. Moses T. Sherid is listed in the owner's log as are the chassis (4437) and the engine (3003) numbers.
1/17/80: Sold to Philip Baumgarten of Baumgarten-Cressman Ferrari, a Ferrari and exotic dealer in Florida, in October of 1986 for $35,000.00. Mr. Baumgarten is now deceased. Baumgarten re-painted the car yellow and converted the wheels to silver. Art Miller of Southern Sports Cars in Miami handled the sale to the next owner. Mr. Baumgarten's purchase is noted in the owner's log along with the chassis (4437) number and purchase date.
1982: Engine number incorrectly listed with inverted numbers in Coltrin/Marchet Miura book as 3030 (typo).
3/10/92: Sold to Randall Parker, Salt Lake City, UT. Mr. Parker had the engine upgraded to SV specs including a complete rebuild, and a split sump. He also upgraded the suspension. Bob Wallace was involved in the engine rebuild. Mr. Parker's purchase is noted in the owner's log along with the chassis numer (4437)and the purchase date.
4/03: Offered for sale by Gary Bobileff. Copy of original ad: "4/03: P400 'S' model, For sale via Gary Bobileff, California, USA with fresh motor and trans with sump separation, fresh paint and interior (now fly Giallo yellow with a tan/off white interior), ask $135,000.00 USD". Mr. Bobileff did not end up brokering the car and it remained in the ownership of Mr. Parker.
2/05: Sold to Tim Mullins, Charlotte, NC, USA. Currently showing 18,340km on the odometer. Mr. Mullins bought the car directly from Mr. Parker. Only driven 1,700km -/+ between 1992 and 2005 per Mr. Parker. Mr. Mullins' purchase is noted in the owner's log along with the chassis (4437) and engine (3003) numbers, as well as the purchase date.
