Chassis #4828
Engine #30737
Prod. #736
16 June 1972
#4828 was delivered new in black metallic paint with white leather interior. This car was one of the original Right Hand Drive versions which were
sold directly to Lamborghini Ltd. in London, England. In England this car had 5 owners before it was purchased by the present (2001) 6th owner in 1997 and taken outside Europe to Argentine. The engine and gearbox wear then completely rebuilt and the engine fitted with 4 brand new Weber carburators. New brake discswere fitted and all the suspension joints and mounts were rebuilt. This car was also fitted by the factory with air-conditioning but the airco-compressor was not working well and therefore removed from the car at this point. Except for the air-conditioning this car is in excellent and complete working order. The owner has hardly used the car since he had all the work done and has therefore decided to offer the car for sale again in 2001.It is now back in England with a new owner as of Dec 2001.
The photograph of the rear view of #4828 with registration EDD 92K, was taken at Silverstone, 1991. This is the same car that once carried the LAM130 registration number and was then owned by Barry Martina.
Owned since 2001 by Phil Richardson (UK), Toronto-based Miura enthusiast. Car stored in England.
November 2004 - According to owner, car due to be shipped from England to California for total restoration and Miura Reunion 2005 attendance.
September 2005 - Sold by Phil Robinson to Tim Stamper (England), interactive
game producer.
