This movie is essentially Cannonball Run 3, which we can see at left was later marketed under that name. A red/tan Countach appears in this one, both a real one (the Michelin car....their name is on stickers on a couple of places on the car) and an obvious fake are used (stunt car). Some nice scenes with the car including an amusing scene with the car (fake one) acting like a stone skipping on water to escape the police!
