VINTAGE PIRELLIS FOR CLASSIC LAMBORGHINIS!

If you own a classic Lamborghini chances are you wish that you could call up your local classic tire distributor and order a set of newly manufactured Pirelli CN12s for your Miura, Islero, Jarama, Espada, etc. Or new Pirelli CN72s or CN36s for your 350/400GT. Or new Pirelli P7s for your Countach. At reasonable prices.

This might be more than wishful thinking as manufacturers such as Pirelli are looking to guage the demand for vintage tires in order to evaluate production possibilities right now. So, if you own a Lamborghini, or even if you service them, and are tired being frustrated by the lack of availability of original equipment for these cars, contact Gaetano Mannino, Pirelli head of operations in the US directly by email at gaetano.mannino@us.pirelli.com. Let Pirelli know what kind of original Pirelli tire would be desired, and how many units you would consider ordering if they were available at fair prices etc. Bottom line: if the demand is significant, Pirelli will make the tires, so fire those e-mails away right now!!!

Rumor of a possible reproduction of these classic tires has been circulating for several months now. Perhaps a flood of orders and emails from classic Lamborghini owners will help tip the scales in favor of Pirelli finally making it happen.
