In 1988 the car had a complete engine rebuild at the expense of Champion Spark Plug Italiana S.p.a. after the company supplied the incorrect plugs. The car was meticulously maintained and improved over the next 15 years and its condition is a credit to its previous owner.

Luzzago of Brescia offered the car for sale during 2003 on behalf of an Italian owner who had owned and treasured the car for 18 years.

The car has now found a new home in London. This is the new owner's 4th Urraco.
