This pre-production prototype is the car that appeared in the factory's P250 brochures.

The 45° angling of the B-pillars is quite evident from this photo. This angle accounts for that "different look" of the prototypes that you can't quite put your finger on. I actually prefer this look. It only appeared on the first five prototypes and was later changed to a 60° angle on the production models. I don't know why this change was made, possibly to allow more air to enter the passenger compartment when these windows were in the open possition.

Also evident in these photos is the higher positioning of the pop-up headlights on prototype #s 3, 4 and5. These were moved closer to the front bumper on the production cars.

The 20 hole wheels appeared only on the first 5 prototypes. These were later changed to 15 hole wheels on the production cars.
